Udet Jasso is a contemporary ceramic artist whose work explores the intersection of beauty and darkness. Working primarily with sculptural forms, Jasso creates pieces that challenge conventional notions of ceramic art, drawing inspiration from the macabre, the natural world, and the depths of human emotion.

Based in Corpus Christi and affiliated with Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, Jasso's practice spans hand-built sculpture, glaze chemistry, and mixed-media installation. Each piece invites viewers into a world where darkness becomes a vessel for beauty.
